1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion
1 pepper (green or red)
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
1 1/2 cups GRAINFIELDS cornflakes or Wheat Flakes (crushed)
1. Sauté onion, pepper, mushrooms, and garlic until soft in a pan sprayed with nonstick vegetable spray.
2. Place ground beef in mixing bowl. Mix in sautéed vegetables, egg, Grainfield's Corn Flakes or Wheat Flakes, and black pepper. Shape in loaf pan. Slash top of meatloaf 3 or 4 times and fill with chili sauce.
3. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 325-350°. After baking, pour off any fat.
