Crispy Crumb Fried Chicken |

2/3 cup finely crushed herb seasoned stuffing mix
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 frying chicken cut up or chicken pieces
1/2 cup shortening

Combine stuffing mix, salt, pepper and paprika on waxed paper. Moisten chicken with water. Coat with crumbs.
Heat Crisco to 365°F in deep fryer. Fry chicken. Turn once for even browning.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook chicken for 30 minutes or until tender. Turn once for even browning. Drain on paper towels.
