How cool is this program??? I love it. Already my recipes are getting organized and so is my day-to-day menu. Now that I'm a working mom I sure don't have much time for the grocery shopping or for making menus. This program has helped me to save tons of time. You know I love searching for recipes online, and this program actually has a built in feature to where one can search for recipes online, snag that recipe, and save it in the program. What is nice about Cook'n is that it converts it to a really nice easy to read layout. I LOVE the layout it has--very clean and includes the internet page the recipe was taken from. It is quite an intelligent program--it lays everything out for me in a spreadsheet just to make sure that I double check it, and then it comes out looking like this! Once a recipe is saved and brands assigned, you can click on the Nutrition button at the top of the screen and it will open up the nutrition screen for that recipe. It will take the individual ingredient nutrition information (from the database and/or those that you have entered). It will give you a total nutrition for the recipe. You can also select settings and have it divide by the number of servings to see a per serving nutrition data for the recipe. I love this feature! I have been going in and adjusting the ingredient list to make sure it includes the ingredients (brands) that I normally am using, so that I can get the most accurate information. This makes it so much easier for me as I diet.

Well I am loving my new software program! It can do so much and I could not be happier! It's the Cook'n Recipe Organizer. It is the neatest program ever. I am having so much fun organizing and sorting my recipes. It has mad a huge difference in my life. I had tons of recipes saved on my computer and now they are all in one very organized place. I'd wish it weren't necessary but, software being software (and people who operate computers being the way *they* are), it's just gonna happen. Following the e-mail thread below, I phoned your support line last week and got Jeffrey on the phone. He was courteous and extremely helpful and the problem was resolved. Congratulations on having a company where good people like Jeffrey work. I work in finance in a software company now and have run an IT department (with an internal help desk) and, as a bit of a techie geek often get these calls from family so I know what's involved. You're obviously giving your support team at least *some* of the tools, training, and encouragement they need to be on your front line.

I just installed your recipe software and love it! The best feature is the list feature that enables you to find out exactly what you need to pick up from the store....but the greater part of this feature is the nutrition information! For someone like myself who tries (not always successful) to watch their weight, this feature proves in-valuable. Just to cook and have an idea of how many calories one will be eating (estimated of course) instead of searching each nutritional info on each box, or a book or web site. I love that I can look up a couple ingredients and find a recipe for dinner. I recently received the apple corer and peeler and I don't know how I have lived without it before. I have a problem with my thumb and this will save me from peeling and slicing apples (and potatoes) for dishes. My family will be happy too, since they will get more yummy treats. I am a converted Living Cookbook user and until I got into Cookn I wasnt sure I wanted to make the change. Once I saw what you have done, I was hooked. There are a couple of things that might lend themselves well to Cookn like the Recipe Capture capability, but even without it, Cookn is head and shoulders above the competition.
