1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 large red and/or green cooking apples, cored, each cut into 16 wedges
1 pound sliced Canadian bacon
1. In large skillet, combine brown sugar, pepper and lemon juice; mix well. Cook and stir over medium heat until brown sugar is melted. Add apples; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, place apples on serving platter.
2. Add Canadian bacon to same skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until hot, turning once. Arrange on platter with apples. Spoon any remaining liquid in skillet over apples and Canadian bacon.
