Broiled Open-Faced Vegetarian Sandwich |

Print this Recipe 2 slices Italian bread, 1 inch thick 2 teaspoons reduced-fat margarine 2 slices tomatoes 2 slices zucchini 2 slices onions 2 slices green peppers 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (to taste) 1/4 teaspoon basil (to taste) 1/4 teaspoon pepper (to taste) 2 ounces shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese Method 1. Spread bread with 1 tsp margarine on each piece. 2. Top with tomato, zucchini, onion, and green pepper slices. 3. Sprinkle with garlic powder, basil, and pepper; top with cheese. 4.
