1 6-ounce package lemon jello or lime-
1 cup water boiling
1 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise commercial or Basic
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cucumber medium unpeeled seeded and coarsely grated (1 cup)
1/4 cup celery finely chopped
1/4 cup onions minced

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Place cottage cheese and mayonnaise in a blender container or food processor bowl; cover and blend or process until smooth. Add dissolved gelatin, vinegar and salt; blend or process until smooth. Pour into a bowl; fold in cucumber, celery and onion. Pour into a lightly-oiled 4-cup mold or individual molds. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Unmold on greens; top with sour cream and sprinkle with almonds.
