1 medium onion, sliced in rings
2 salmon steaks, approximately 1-inch thick
1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth or apple juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 lemon, sliced
1/2 cup water
Place trivet or rack in cooker. Add water and wine or broth or apple juice. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Place steaks atop trivet. Arrange lemon slices over fish, setting aside 4 slices for garnishing. Lock lid and bring to full pressure. Lower heat, maintaining pressure, and cook for 6 minutes. Remove cooker from heat and quick-release pressure. Remove steaks to a serving platter. Discard onion and lemon. Garnish with reserved fresh lemon slices and serve at once.
