Savory Marinated Fish |

Prep Time: 20 minutes - Yield: 6 servings
1 1/2 pounds fish filets
1/2 cup dry white wine, or apple juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried savory or thyme leaves
Lemon, if desired
1. Arrange fish fillets in single layer in ungreased 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish. In small bowl, combine wine, lemon juice, garlic and savory; pour over fish. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 to 4 hours to marinate, turning occasionally.
2. Remove fish from marinade. Arrange, skin side down, on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 4 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, brushing occasionally with marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Garnish with lemon.

Variations
Italian Marinated Fish: Substitute 1 cup purchased Italian salad dressing, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt for the wine, lemon juice, garlic and savory.
Wine Marinated Fish: Reduce wine to 1/4 cup. Substitute 1/4 cup oil, 1 thinly sliced lemon and 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley for the lemon juice, garlic and savory.
