3 cups water
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1/2 lemon, sliced
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
4 (4-ounce) salmon steaks
1. In large skillet, combine all ingredients except salmon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors.
2. Add salmon; cover and simmer 6 to 9 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with fork. With slotted spoon, remove salmon from liquid; place on serving platter. If desired, garnish with dill and additional lemon slices.
