SAUCE
1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
FISH
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4 (4-ounce) whitefish, haddock or orange roughy fillets
1. GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients; mix well. Set aside. In separate small bowl, combine butter and lemon juice; blend well.
2. When ready to grill, carefully oil grill rack. Place whitefish on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Brush with butter mixture. Cook 6 to 9 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, turning once and brushing occasionally with butter mixture. Serve with sauce.
TIP: To broil whitefish, place on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide, turning once and brushing occasionally with butter mixture.
