My dad became a wonderful cook when he retired...he passed this traditional Italian recipe on to me.
3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 refrigerated pizza crust (10-inch)
2 onions, diced
Garlic powder to taste
Paprika to taste
Optional: salt and pepper to taste
Lightly coat pizza pan with one tablespoon olive oil; place pizza dough into pan. Coat dough with one tablespoon olive oil; set aside. Sauté onions in remaining olive oil until golden; spread evenly over the dough, lightly pressing down. Sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika; add salt and pepper, if desired. Bake at 425 degrees until golden, about 20 minutes.
