   Almond Butter:
   ___ cup softened butter
   _ tablespoon finely chopped almonds
   ___ teaspoon almond extract

Beat ingredients for one of the flavor variations, below. If desired, chill about 1 hour to blend flavors.

Almond Butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tablespoon finely chopped almonds and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.

Honey Butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup honey.

Lemon poppy seed butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tablespoon finely shredded lemon peel and 1 teaspoon poppy seed.

Orange Butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 teaspoon grated orange peel and 1 tablespoon orange juice.

Pecan Butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/4 cup chopped pecans and 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar.

Raspberry Butter: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup raspberries, crushed, and 1 tablespoon sugar; or 1/4 cup raspberry jam.
