These spreads are great with your favorite bagels and breads.


   Chili Cheddar Spread:
   _ (3-ounce) package softened cream cheese
   ___ cup shredded cheddar cheese
   ___ cup whole kernel corn
   ___ teaspoon chili powder
   _ sliced green onions


Mix cream cheese and milk until blended. Stir in ingredients for one of the flavor variations, below.

Chili cheddar spread: 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened, 1/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup whole kernel corn, 3/4 teaspoon chili powder and a sliced green onion.

Chive-Swiss-Cream Cheese Spread: 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 cup finely shredded Swiss cheese and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives.

Nutty Olive Cream Cheese Spread: 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup finely chopped pimiento-stuffed olives.

Peanut Butter-Honey Cream Cheese Spread: 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter and 1 tablespoon honey.
