8 Rhodes texas rolls, thawed
1 cup sliced apples or apple pie filling
4 tablespoons raisins
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3/4 cup milk
2 pounds powdered sugar
Thaw rolls until soft. Place 4 thawed rolls on breadboard. Top with 1/2 cup apples and 2 tablespoons raisins. Chop with a knife until ingredients are mixed into rolls. Lift with a spatula into a 12 inch dutch oven lined with sprayed aluminum foil. Repeat process with remaining ingredients. Put lid on oven and allow to rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Top with cream cheese frosting while still warm.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
Combine ingredients. Add more milk if needed. Store any remaining frosting in refrigerator.
