1 egg yolk
1/2 cup yogurt, nonfat
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
1/8 teaspoon white peppers, freshly ground
You can use low-fat instead of nonfat yogurt; it will add only a negligible amount of fat per serving:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan; stir with a wire whisk until smooth.
2. Cook mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, 3-4 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve warm. (The sauce can be reheated, if necessary, but very slowly over very low heat.)
