*Before adding a slice of cake, drizzle the plate with raspberry puree (ice cream topping), chocolate syrup or melted chocolate chips, Crème Anglaise or thinned vanilla pudding. Make swirls, zigzags, polka dots or other designs, then set a slice of cake on the decorated plate.
*Sift powdered sugar or cocoa over and around the slice.
*Serve with a scoop of ice cream, sorbet or frozen yogurt garnished with a fresh mint sprig and sliced berry.
*Pipe a border around the slice with whipped cream and grate bittersweet chocolate over all.
