CRUST
1 refrigerated pie shell (from 15-ounce package) or Pastry for One-Crust Pie recipe in Desserts, Cakes & Pies
FILLLING
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 pint (2 cups) fresh whole strawberries
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
1. Heat oven to 450'F. Prepare pie crust for one-crust baked shell using 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 450'F. for 9 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
2. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and lemon peel; beat until smooth and well blended. Spread evenly in cooled baked shell.
3. Arrange strawberries over cream cheese mixture; press lightly. Spoon pie filling over strawberries. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. If desired, garnish with whipped cream. Store in refrigerator.
