Molasses Barbecue Frankfurters |

Serves: 12
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 teaspoons dried minced onion
4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon orange rinds grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 16-ounce package hot dogs cut in 1" pieces

In a medium saucepan, mix tomato sauce, molasses, vinegar, oil, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, orange rind and salt until blended. Over medium heat, bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
Add frankfurters to sauce and heat through.
Transfer to a chafing dish and serve with wooden picks.
