1/2 cup onions chopped
1 garlic medium clove, minced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 10-ounce package spinach cooked and well drained
1 3-ounce package cream cheese softened
2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh
1/2 teaspoon dijon style mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper fresh ground
6 drops hot pepper sauce
Dash nutmeg ground

In a small skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion and garlic in butter or margarine for 3 minutes or until just beginning to brown.
Place in a blender container or food processor bowl with spinach, cream cheese, lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and nutmeg; cover and blend or process until uniform. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
To serve, thin with milk to desired consistency. Serve with chips.
