2 or 3 slices fresh ginger root
1/4 to 1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1. Mince ginger root; then blend well with remaining ingredients.
2. Serve in a dip dish, to accompany pork.
VARIATIONS:
* For the ginger root, substitute 2 garlic cloves, minced.
* For the salt, substitute 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
* Reduce the soy sauce to 1 tablespoon.
* Omit the soy sauce and salt.
