I recently purchased your Cook'n Recipe Software and love it! I have tried several other cookbook programs but found them unsatisfactory.

My main goal was to put my own recipes into a system that was easy and quick. I have put in about 20 so far, and I love it. It is so easy to use.

I have tried several of your recipes and they all have been wonderful!

Thank you!!

1. Mash brown beans to a paste; mince garlic. Then combine in a saucepan with stock, salt, sugar and soy sauce. Slowly heat, stirring, but do not boil.

2. Remove pan from heat. Then stir in sherry, Five Spices and food coloring, mixing well to blend. Add mixture to pork strips and let stand 2 to 3 hours, turning frequently. Then roast (see Pork chapter, "Barbecued Pork Strips").

VARIATION:
* For the food coloring, substitute enough tomato sauce to add color or the liquid from maraschino cherries.
