Every Italian meal must have its garlic bread, and this recipe is not only delicious but also attractive.

1 unsliced loaf (1-1/2 pounds) garlic bread
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup grated Romano cheese or Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Paprika
Slice bread lengthwise; place with cut side up on a large baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine butter, cheese, garlic and oregano; brush onto cut surfaces of bread. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil about 4 in. from heat for 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted. Cut crosswise into 3-in. pieces to serve.
