1. Place cucumbers in medium bowl sprinkle with salt. Add vinegar and water stir. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain well return to bowl.
2. In small bowl, combine sour cream, dill, sugar and pepper blend well. Add to cucumbers mix gently. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
TIP: Thinly sliced onion, separated into rings, can be added with sour cream mixture.
