Veggie Buns

Ingredients

24 Rhodes Dinner Rolls , thawed to room temperature
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup diced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup diced fresh broccoli
1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup diced yellow bell pepper
1 tablespoon , chopped green onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Combine 2 rolls together and flatten into a 5-inch circle. Repeat with remaining rolls. In a bowl combine the cheese, vegetables, garlic, salt and pepper. Divide vegetable mixture into 12 equal portions and place in center of each dough circle. Pull edges of dough up around vegetable mixture. With your hands, knead the vegetable mixture into the dough while forming a round bun. Place buns on a large sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 45-60 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
