Hearty Bean Patties |

_ (15-ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
___ cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
___ cup dry bread crumbs
_ tablespoons chopped green onions
_ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
___ teaspoon pepper
___ teaspoon salt
_ egg white
_ whole wheat hamburger buns, split
Horseradish Sauce (see recipe)
_ slices tomatoes
_ lettuce leaves
Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Mash beans in medium bowl. Mix in cheese, bread crumbs, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt and egg white. Shape mixture into 4 patties. Cook patties in skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes, turning once, until light brown. Serve on buns with Horseradish Sauce, tomato and lettuce.

Horseradish Sauce
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
Mix ingredients.
