Lean Pie Crust


Serves: 8
Total Calories: 50

Ingredients

1/2 cup unbleached flour, white, sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder, double-acting
1/4 cup margarine, diet, at room temperature

Directions:

1. Stir flour, salt, and baking powder together. Cut in margarine with fork or pastry blender and continue mixing until no pastry sticks to the sides of the bowl. Shape into a ball. Wrap and refrigerate for an hour or more.
2. Roll the dough out on a floured board. If prebaking, heat oven to 425ºF and bake about 12 minutes or until golden.
