Maple-Flavored Syrup

Ingredients

1 cup apple juice
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon margarine
1 3/4 teaspoons Equal measure or 6 packets EQUAL sweetener or 1/4 cup EQUAL Spoonful
1 teaspoon imitation maple flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine apple juice and cornstarch in small saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in margarine, Equal, maple flavoring, and vanilla. Serve over pancakes, waffles, or French toast.
