10 hot dogs each cut in 3 pieces
20 mushrooms fresh, washed and trimmed
3 green bell peppers seeded and cut into 20 pieces
20 cherry tomatoes or tomato wedges
2 onions large, cut in 20 pieces
3 apples cored and cut into 24 wedges

1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 onion small, chunked
1 clove garlic halved
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Cayenne pepper to taste
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sherry
Thread 10 skewers with ingredients alternately, starting and ending with frankfurters. Use 1 whole frankfurter and 2 pieces of each vegetable and apple for each skewer. Prepare the following sauce.
Sauce:
*Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor; purée. Place in saucepan and bring to boil; simmer, partially covered, for 10 minutes. Grill kabobs over medium coals, basting frequently with sauce, until cooked to desired doneness.
