Golden Corn Pudding |

Print this Recipe
Bake in a pretty oven-proof dish and serve it for company-best. The delicate custard is so good! Fresh, frozen or drained, canned corn can be used to make this creamy savory dish.
2 cups frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon crackers crumbs

1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease 1-quart baking dish.
2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Pour into baking dish. Set baking dish in pan of hot water 1 inch deep. Bake 60 to 70 minutes, or until silver knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
