Sauté onion, garlic and basil in butter add tomatoes, salt and Italian seasoning. Stir in asparagus and pine nuts bring to a boil. Reduce heat mix in cream, stirring constantly until thickened. Spoon over hot pasta sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
TIP: The easiest way to steam asparagus is to trim the ends of each stalk, toss into a skillet with about 1/2 inch of water, cover and, when the asparagus turn bright green, they're ready!
