Like most kids, mine love popsicles, especially in the summer. There frozen fruit pops are so much better for your child than anything you can buy. They contain no added sugar and have the added benefit of fiber from the banana. Tupperware makes good frozen bar forms that I use all the time. Use the following recipe or ¼ cup unsweetened grape or orange juice in each form, which would equal 1 FRUIT. The exchanges below are based on ¼ cup per frozen fruit pop 1/3 cup would be almost 1 FRUIT.
1. Combine all ingredients and pour into 8- or 9-inch baking pan. Freeze until almost firm.
2. Spoon mixture into a mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Spoon mixture into frozen bar forms. Freeze until firm.
Food exchanges per frozen fruit pop: 2/3 FRUIT
