Does fresh asparagus sound good? Use about 1 pound, cut into 1-inch pieces, in place of the frozen asparagus. Add lower stalk pieces to boiling water; boil uncovered 6 minutes. Add tips; cover and boil 4 minutes more or until crisp-tender.
Cook asparagus as directed on package-except add mushrooms during last minute of cooking; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients.
