1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
1 sheet puff pastry shells
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter and brown sugar in a cast iron skillet and cook until butter and sugar are melted. Stir apples into butter mixture and fry for about 7 minutes. Unfold the puff pastry; place on top of apples. Holding pastry down and using a spatula, push the edges down between the apples and baking dish. With the tip of a knife, poke a hole in the center of pastry. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool completely before serving.
