Slow Cooked Apple Streusel

Ingredients

6 cups tart apples peeled, cored, and sliced
1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 dash allspice
1 dash nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup Original Bisquick®
1 cup Original Bisquick®
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
3 tablespoons butter cold
1/2 cup almonds sliced

Directions:

In a large bowl, toss apples with seasonings. Place in a greased slow cooker. In a mixing bowl, combine milk, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and baking mix mix well. Pour over apples. For topping, combine biscuit mix and brown sugar cut in butter until crumbly. Add almonds sprinkle over apples. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the apples are tender. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
