_ onion medium, cut in 1/8 -inch slices
___ cup white wine
___ cup water
_ cups mushrooms 1/4 -inch sliced
___ teaspoon beef bouillon
_ tablespoon sour cream dairy (optional)
___ teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
_ pound ground beef
_ tablespoons water
___ teaspoon garlic salt
___ teaspoon black pepper
_ teaspoon parsley dried
In a 1-quart microwavable casserole, place onion, wine and 1/4 cup water. Cover with a glass lid or plastic wrap, turning one edge back. Microwave at 100% power (700 watts) for 4 to 5 minutes or until almost tender, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and bouillon granules. Re-cover and vent. Microwave at 100% power for 1 to 2 minutes or until mushrooms are wilted. Stir in sour cream if desired. Stir in thyme until blended; cover and keep warm.
In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, 2 tablespoons water, garlic salt and pepper until blended. Shape into four 1/2 -inch thick patties. Place 1 inch apart on a microwavable bacon rack or paper towel-lined microwavable plate. Cover with a paper towel. Microwave at 100% power for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes or just until no longer pink in center, turning patties over after 3 minutes.
Place patties on a microwavable serving platter. Top with mushroom sauce. Sprinkle with parsley. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
