1/4 cup rice
1 1/4 cups hot milk
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup ground pork
1 cup condensed beef broth bouillon
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 head cabbage
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup beef broth bouillon
Cook rice and milk in double boiler for 10 minutes. Add beef, pork, bouillon, salt and pepper; cook until rice is soft. Remove leaves of cabbage and steam until tender. Drain meat mixture and spoon onto each leaf; roll and fasten with toothpicks and place in a Dutch oven. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and butter. Bake in for 20 minutes. Thicken broth bouillon for gravy.
