Serves: 2 Print this Recipe(Oro de Pacifico) Category: Mixed Alcoholic Drinks and Cocktails Along the Pacific coast of Mexico, this drink is usually thought of as a "sun-downer." Tourists and locals gather in bars along the beach before having dinner to enjoy often-spectacular sunsets. 1 cup cracked ice (see Note below) 6 ounces pineapple juice 4 ounces fresh grapefruit juice 2 ounces silver or white tequila 2 ounces white rum 2 ounces sweet coconut cream, such as Coco Lopez 2 sprigs mint leaves Put the ice in a blender jar. Add all of the remaining ingredients but the mint, and blend until smooth. Pour equally into 2 (10-ounce) Pilsner-style glasses. Add a straw and garnish with the mint. Serve cold. NOTE: To crack ice cubes, put them in a heavy plastic bag, remove air from the bag, seal it, then put the bag on a cutting board. With a hammer or heavy rolling pin, gently break cubes into chips.
