Banana-Mango Drink |

Serves: 2 Print this Recipe(Licuado de Plátano y Mango) Category: Fruit Drinks and Punches (Non-alcoholic) Add cold milk to the fresh fruit in a blended drink, and it becomes a licuado, another type of fresca, or fresh drink. This creamy, rich drink is delicious and satisfying. 1/2 ripe mango 2 cups cold whole or low-fat milk 1 medium ripe banana, peeled and cut into chunks 1 tablespoon sugar Organize all of your own recipes with the Cook'n Recipe Software. Watch and see how easy it is! 1. To peel and cut up the mango, cut 1/2 of the mango away from the flat oval seed with a sharp paring knife. Then lay the cut half on a flat surface, skin side down, and make cross-cuts on the fruit, separating the flesh into cubes. (Do not cut through the peel.) Push the fruit inside out and cut the cubes off the peel. 2. Discard the peel and put the pieces of fruit in a blender jar. Add the remaining ingredients and purée until smooth. Serve cold.
