Serves: 6

Print this Recipe

LOW FAT/LOW CHOLESTEROL/LOW CALORIE

Prep: 10 min
Cook: 20 min

This slim and healthful cousin to sloppy joes would be great served on multigrain or whole wheat buns for a fiber-rich alternative to the kaiser rolls.

   1/2 pound diet-lean or extra-lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 small green bell peppers, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup frozen whole kernal corn, thawed
   1/3 cup ketchup
   1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
   2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
6 onion kaiser rolls, split and warmed

1. Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Cook beef, onion and bell pepper in skillet about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until
beef is brown.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients except rolls. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Fill rolls with beef mixture.
