Making Chocolate Curls

Serves: 0

Ingredients

Directions:

Choose a bar of sweet or semi-sweet chocolate and bring it to room temperature. Use a sharp vegetable peeler or a knife to shave off thin curls. This takes a certain knack, and practice makes perfect. If the chocolate is too cold, the curls will crack. If it is too warm, or if you touch the curls with your fingers, they will melt. Move the finished curls into place with a wooden pick. If all this proves too difficult, use grated chocolate instead.
