3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon lemon peels grated
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 cups blueberries fresh or frozen and partially thawed
1 tablespoon butter real
1 teaspoon lemon juice fresh or to taste
In a medium saucepan combine sugar, flour, lemon rind, cinnamon and salt. Stir in blueberries. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and berries are barely tender, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat.
