2 10-ounce packages spinach thawed
3 tomatoes large, peeled
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
1/3 cup green onions chopped or 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
2 eggs beaten
Heat oven to 350° F. Drain thawed spinach, pressing against sides of sieve to remove all moisture. Slice tomatoes into 10 to 12 thick slices; lay in a greased shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic salt, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss bread crumbs with Parmesan cheese; set aside. Mix spinach with remaining ingredients and spoon on top of tomato slices. Sprinkle on crumbs and cheese mixture. Bake for 30 minutes.
