Bonbon is a corruption of the French for "good-good"--and what more, really, is there to be said about these rich chocolate cookies? Mary Anne Tyndall reported that her husband found her work very good indeed. "My husband has always supported, praised and eaten my kitchen creations. In fact, he appreciated them so much he gained thirty-five pounds the first year we were married. The more praise I received, the more I cooked, and the more I cooked the more he ate. That was twenty-seven years ago, and since then we have learned the meaning of moderation!"
