1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups whole bran cereal
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup seeded raisins
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Mix flour, cereal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and raisins together in large bowl. Mix in small bowl; add egg, buttermilk, and vegetable oil. Stir lightly just until ingredients are moist but still lumpy. Bake in greased muffin cups at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes.
