Cranberry Muffins

Serves: 12

   1 1/2 cups sugar
   1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
   2 eggs
   2 1/4 cups flour
   2 teaspoons baking powder
   1/2 teaspoon salt
   1/2 cup milk
   2 1/2 cups cranberries, chopped
   1/2 cup walnuts, chopped


Cream sugar and butter together until frothy. Blend in eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir in. Gradually add milk; mix well. Add cranberries and walnuts; stir and pour into muffin tins. Bake at 400°F for about 20 to 25 minutes.
