1 cup sugar
2 cups buttermilk
2/3 cup molasses
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups quick rolled oats
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup dates, chopped
Blend together eggs, sugar, buttermilk, and molasses. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; add to mixture. Lightly stir in oats, nuts, and dates; bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes
