1 cup sugar
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cooking oils
1 egg, beaten
1 cup chopped pitted prunes
1/2 cup prune juice
1 cup buttermilk
Mix together sugar, white flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add cooking oil, egg, prunes, prune juice, and buttermilk; mix well. Bake in loaf pans at 350°F for 1 hour.
