Buttermilk Biscuits


Serves: 5

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Cut butter or margarine into dry mixture to resemble coarse meal. Add buttermilk and stir just until dough clings together. Pat about 1/2" thick. Cut out biscuits. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
