White Bread #1


Serves: 16
Total Calories: 190

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups warm water
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
6 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt

Directions:

Pour warm water and honey into mixing bowl. Sprinkle dry yeast over and let dissolve. Add butter, flour, and salt. Add a little more flour if needed. Knead until elastic punch down. Let rise punch down and mold. Let rise until doubled and bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes.

NOTE: Use potato water whenever possible. It makes the bread tender.
