Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
3 tablespoons honey
5 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup olive oil

Directions:

Cook rolled oats, water, and salt until thick cool. Dissolve dry yeast in warm water with honey. Into a mixing bowl, put whole wheat flour. Add yeast, oat mixture and olive oil. Knead well (mixture will be very stiff) until dough becomes more pliable. Cover and let rise punch down and let rise again mold. Let rise in pans and bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
